Fischer-Brodbeck GmbH (FIBRO) was founded in Weinsberg in 1958 and since 1974 has been part of the Läpple Group.

The plant in Hassmersheim has been manufacturing modules for use in automation since 1974. Läpple, which was founded in 1919 in Weinsberg as well, today employs 4 000 individuals, of which 900 work in the FIBRO Group alone. They are active worldwide in the fields of standard parts, rotary tables and automation.
